The word “Yama” stands for Yamaphoom in Thai language, which translates to “a shiny place in heaven” where there are blooming flowers in the daytime which fold away at night. This is the flower that inspired the Yama Hotel’s name and logo. The design concept is to create a cozy and contemporary style inspired by the bird of paradise in a blue and orange with a touch of green.

At the Yama Hotel lobby, you will find the eyecatching Yama flower design above your head, designed to catch your eye and enlighten your mood. The lobby is also decorated with reflective mirrors detailed with Thai fine art.

The open and breezy lobby space creates a comfortable atmosphere to take in the panoramic 360-degree view of Kata beach, the mountain and outdoor pool, which can also be enjoyed from your private balcony.
